Who is CJC?

If you are delinquent on your debt, you have rights under the law that many people are not generally aware of. CJC is a consumer advocacy organization specializing in consulting with debtors whom are subject to collection activity by their creditors. Consumer Assistance Center (CJC) monitors Fair Debt Collection Act (FDCPA) compliance for those collectors whom are subject to abiding by it and general creditor collection abuse and harassment.

Is CJC a debt settlement company?

No. CJC does not negotiate, settle or in anyway work with your creditors to resolve the balance you allegedly owe them.

Do I have to work with a debt settlement company or be enrolled in a debt settlement plan to utilize your service?

No. CJC helps debtors regardless as to whether or not they are enrolled in a debt settlement program.

What services does CJC Offer?

Our plan is called the ‘Rights Protection Plus’ program.

Is CJC a law firm?

No. CJC is not a law firm and as such can not give you any legal advice. If you are sued, or you have a good case against your creditor, CJC can refer you to a competent debtor rights attorney. CJC receives absolutely no compensation for attorney referrals and always gives you the choice of more than a single law firm.
